Short Bio

Kaixuan Chen is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Aalborg University, Denmark. She is also a faculty member in Center for a faculty member in Center for Data-Intensive Systems (Daisy) with Prof. Christian S. Jensen and Prof. Bin Yang.

Kaixuan Chen got her doctorate at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of New South Wales (UNSW) in April 2020. Her supervisors were Prof. Lina Yao, UNSW, Dr. Liming Zhu, Data61, CSIRO, and Dr. Xiwei (Sherry) Xu, Data61, CSIRO.

She earned a Bachelor's degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) in 2015, majoring in Telecommunication Engineering.

Currently, her scientific research interest is in Data Mining, Deep Learning and Sensor-based Human Activity Recognition.
